Troubleshooting Xbox Remote Play

Ensure your phone and Xbox app are running the latest updates.
For remote play with the Xbox, a minimum internet connection of 7Mbps is required, but for the best experience, a speed of 15Mbps or higher is optimal. This means the Xbox should have an upstream connection of at least that speed; could you make sure that your ISP’s upload speed is sufficient for the Xbox’s connection?
You will require a 5Ghz Wi-Fi connection or Ethernet. Although 2.4 GHz networks can function, they are not optimized for game streaming, even if the speeds are sufficient.
Uninstall and then reinstall the Remote Play app.
